Ethiopian New Year, also known as Enkutatash, is a special time of the year. Unlike most of the world, Ethiopia is seven to eight years behind. This year, MWCCO had the amazing opportunity to welcome the Ethiopian New Year of 2014 not only in Ethiopia, but also in the United States! In Addis Ababa, we held a large event for our members where we celebrated the new year and supplied resources, all thanks to your donations. Moreover, we were invited to an Ethiopian New Year event in Charlotte, NC (hosted by Tesfa Ethiopia) to bring awareness to our organization and spread our mission.
