It takes more than a village

The organization has the vision to see vulnerable children, destitute women, and helpless elderly are free from deep-rooted poverty. Its mission is to provide basic necessities, supporting and capacitating them to have better living conditions within their local community. In order to realize its vision and mission, MWCCO has been engaged in implementing a three years-based project focused on children support, destitute women capacity building, and providing necessary services to the helpless elderly in Addis Ababa.

The organization, despite the lack of an adequate budget previously promised by its donor, has tried to provide most of its target beneficiaries with in-kind support. As a result, the organization supported different services such as food items, clothing, educational materials for school-age children, and the like. Moreover, the organization has been working in collaboration with woreda 04 women, children and youth affairs office, labor and social affairs offices, and finance and cooperation offices in following up with beneficiaries. With your help, we can continue these efforts and create sustainable change within the Addis Ababa community.
